Originally from Carbondale, Colorado, Justin has been practicing Physical Therapy in Vail Valley for 5 years now. He moved to Texas to obtain his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Post-graduation, he moved to Denver to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He has since completed a board certified Orthopedic Specialist Certification residency in Vail, Colorado working with world class surgeons and athletes.

Justin has worked in both the outpatient setting as well as the emergency room through the full continuum of acute orthopedic injuries straight off the mountain to post-surgical, and non-operative orthopedic conditions with special interests in treating ACL injuries, vertigo, and concussions.

As an avid outdoorsman, you can find Justin at any of the beautiful Vail Valley’s rivers, fly fishing, hunting, rafting, camping, and snowboarding in his free time. Fun fact, Justin is a part of the first set of triplets to be born in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Mariah is an orthopedic physical therapist specializing in sports rehabilitation, performance training, and return-to-sport progression. Carrie is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic specialist. She has been practicing in the Vail Valley since 2013.

She takes an evidence-based approach and utilizes her expertise in manual therapy (hands-on treatments) to facilitate quicker recovery and success for her patients.

She is also certified as a Restorative Yoga instructor, and uses these principles to complement neuromuscular and strength training with many of her patients.

Carrie strongly values community and understands the importance of a team mentality. She played soccer competitively from a young age through college at Emory University, and has played recreationally throughout the Vail Valley.

Carrie also assists with the Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies local programs, and enjoys working with patients with neurological and vestibular disorders as well.

Sarah is the founder and director of Altius Physical Therapy & Wellness in Avon, where she specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation of the spine and degenerative hip, women’s health across the lifespan, chronic pain management, and return-to-performance training. Her clinical approach integrates biomechanics, strength science, and metabolic health to deliver personalized, evidence-based care designed for long-term resilience—not just short-term recovery. Beyond her clinical practice, Sarah is a content creator and on-screen instructor for Oxefit, Inc., where she develops rehabilitation-informed programming that transforms complex movement science into intelligent, accessible digital training.
